This depends on different factors. For example, in Islamic practice, the husband only needs to pronounce his divorce wish three times. In the United Kingdom, the process is very straightforward. In Nigeria, I guess that with the intervention of concerned parties and stakeholders, the process may be elongated or more proactively managed. In the Christian faith, I believe the marital vows are ‘till death do us part,’ but this has severally not been put into practice.
